Come one, come all- to the Pre-Cantina Event at Extreme Gear Off Road! Rock-N-Roll 4x4 Cantina for the Con BBQ Raffle Ticket Presale at Extreme Gear Off-Road in Rancho Cordova on August 19th has become more than a drop-by event, it has become an event that 4x4 enthusiasts plan on attending and make a full Tuesday evening of hanging out with friends and exchanging trail stories. Tuesday August 19th is an open house style event with scrumptious BBQ available from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at Extreme Gear Off-Road. 96.9 the Eagle, Sacramentos Classic Rock station and 98 Rock, Californias Rock Station will be in attendance and hosting giveaways throughout the night. Along with checking out Extreme Gear Off-Road, there will be an assortment of vendors that will be featuring their products. The Raffle Ticket stubs go into the huge raffle at the 9th Annual Cantina for the Con Labor Day Weekend, Saturday August 30th and Sunday August 31st at the Loon Lake Spillway. Historically the raffle has had over $15,000 in prizes to give away to raffle ticket holders, and this year it looks to be even bigger! Participate in this event by donating raffle prizes or purchasing raffle tickets to win, or both. Tickets are $1 for 1; $10 for 15; $20 for 32; $60 for 100 or $100 for 200. You do not have to be present to win, but will be responsible for shipping. On Labor Day Weekend, enjoy the most talked about Tacos on the Rubicon Trail and the Manufacturers Midway where companies come from all over to enjoy a weekend in the mountains. Make it a day trip in your car, a campout in your RV or a destination on the trail in your 4x4. The 501(c)3 Donation towards the event helps the Rubicon Trail Foundation meet its goals. The mission: To enhance the future health and use of the Rubicon Trail, while ensuring responsible motorized year-round trail access. We advocate for your continued motorized access to the trail and surrounding public lands. The monetary support goes towards continued monitoring of important legal issues and political involvement at the Local and Federal level. On trail, the money is used to educate trail users via mid-trail staff, supporting organized work parties and accessing private property for public enjoyment.
