The South Cape Hospitality and Entertainment Associations are sponsoring THE SOUTH ZOMBIE CRAWL on Saturday, October 19 from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Thats when ten (12) of the South Capes best restaurants and bars will be offering $2.50 Jagermeister cocktail specials. In addition there will be delicious appetizer and food specials. Several of the locations will have live music as the whole area is turned into one big party. Zombifest Horror And Music Festival have moved to South Cape Zombifest organizers have decided to move forward with the festival and are moving it to downtown Cape Coral to provide Lee residents with the Ultimate Halloween Experience This exciting one night event on Saturday, October 19th features national bands like headlining act Mushroomhead, One Eyed Doll, XFactor1 and Ionia. Costume contests will have several prizes including a custom one of a kind guitar by Scream Guitars. This guitar is made just for Zombifest and signed by all the performing bands. There are crazy sideshows and the famous Dr Blasphemy hosts the entire event. These factors combined will be the perfect storm for the Ultimate Halloween Experience. Mushroomhead is one of the most unique and adventurous alternative metal bands working today. Known for their stunningly theatrical live show and artsy masks, this innovative band has forged new ground in the rock world and influenced many other bands to push the envelope and bring art into rock. This is going to be an amazing event, says Ragen St Peter, Ink Life Tour founder and the owner of Zombifest. These are the high energy exciting events that SW Floridians are longing for. We are excited to move this to South Cape where we have a great deal of free parking and all the best Cape Coral bars and clubs down one street. The event is being held in conjunction with South Cape Hospitality and Entertainments first Zombie Crawl, an event with 12 local bars offering Jagermeister and food specials. The Zombie Crawl starts at 5pm and is free. You can start your crawl at any of the participating locations. Just ask for a Zombie Crawl Passport at your first stop. The Mushroomhead block party starts at 6: 00 pm and goes till 11:00 pm. It will be located on SE 11th Street, next to Dixie Roadhouse. Parking is FREE and admission is only $10.00 at the gate for all concerts, art exhibits, and side-shows.
