Coming off a challening search in Restoule. All our members were professional and did a terrific job. Our first gig working with OPP NER. Even ended up on CTV News doing a sound bite :). It was however a reminder on how difficult the terrain could be up here. There were differences of up to 100m or more in elevation, with some steep climbs. The vegetation was thick, and the ground uneven. Within 3km of the PLS we had 3 lakes, a small but long creek and many marshes. A happy ending thank god but another reason why we train in all terrain.
