Coming off the high of what was a wonderful #TEDxPortofSpain experience this year - Id like to say thank you to an exceptional bunch of superstars who are the organising committee and the volunteers of #TEDxPortofSpain. However this fantastic group just happened to find each other - it was definitely the universe conspiring for a most promising future. For the 1st time in 16 years Ive lived in Trinidad, it is the only group of Trinis I have worked with who have never once remarked on my gender, race or nationality. They just see me for me. They are focused on the vision and the practical steps needed to realise the vision: no bachanal, no cliques, no she say, he say - just great vibes, humility, hard work and proactivity, And this serves as a testament to who Keita is as a person :-) Thank you for being the courageous soul to have started this all and given me the opportunity to connect with great souls. Dennise thank you for being the mother we can all lean on. Thank you Charlotte for your kindness and your sternness - what a combination! Thanks Tara for these self inspection questions - knowing my greatest passion now can only serve me better in choosing projects which work for me. I had a great Communications team this year who dealt with my constant whatsapping, emails, reminders Arvinda Latoya Simone Cheyenne Tricia and of course my favourite Brand Nazi who kept me focused on consistent brand strategy and hands down a gifted young lady Ayrïd. LaToya thank you for taking all of my calls and questions - even if you didnt know the answer you were willing to help find them. There is no way communications could have been successful without the role each of you played. Denyssa thanks for always being helpful whenever I call for last minute help! To Giselle for being a great sounding board for thoughts and ideas. To Gaby for just being you - love your energy! So grateful for this experience, so grateful to know all of these overachievers! LOL Heres to our 5th Anniversary in 2015!!! woohoo!!!!
