Coming out and witness African American History: Tuesday, October 7, 5:30pm at the Rowser building, the Virginia Department of Historic Resources will honor the Stafford Training School for its historical significance in the desegregation of Stafford’s schools which led to the subsequent integration of schools in the greater Fredericksburg area. An unveiling of a historical highway marker will be held at the school (which is now known as the Rowser Building) – 1739 Jefferson Davis Highway, Stafford, VA 22554).
