Coming to this day ...the finals for the teen and preteen I was feeling anxious and overwhelmed and then I enjoyed a lunch with my Miss ladies and princesses and I was quickly reminded that their ultimate dream is to win the title of Miss Illinois in their prospective levels...but that their truest honor and joy has been being a titleholder in the fox valley pageants family. It gave me a calm over my heart, my mind and my soul that was much needed going into this night. My girls have worked so hard and are very quick to remind even me...that they are here to be the very best of who they are at this moment. God has his plan. And that is what it shall be. Best of luck to all of our girls tonight.
