Commemorating today the 106th birthday of the person closest to my heart. The person who has a great influence in me. My childhood years was spent with her, and from her love and wisdom I’ve grown. I can vividly remember how she opposed when I move to Cebu to study college, so when I went home during my first sem. break she requested me to study here instead. How can I refuse seeing her in tears. I chose to stop schooling so I can attend to her needs. I’m one of lola’s much-loved grandchildren. I love you so much Lola Meray (Casimera Guarte-Arizobal)! You are amazingly kind and extremely awesome! You just don’t know that I still shed tears when I think of you, and I just did last night. As an emblem of my love for you I named my first born child (Casimera Cas) after yours. You are always in my heart forever. :(
