Comment From Community Member Barb Allison: Bikers please take care. We were driving behind a motorcyclist on Yellowhead going east between Stony Plain & Edmt. when we came upon unexpected road construction with no visible signs or lights or speed reduction and the motorcyclist was catapulted from his bike at 110 k when he hit the deep edge of the payment. We called 911 and stayed with him until ambulance arrived. Hope he recovers. Province & City should take more Safety precautions and make signs more visible as we did not see any and I suspect the other motorists did not as well as they were all going full speed. Just want motorcyclists to take care as signs are not always there.
