Commuter Services of Pennsylvania invites Bicycle Commuters to join the Bike to Work Week Ride in Berks County, Friday, May 16, 2014. Commuters should arrive at the Reading Hospital parking lot adjacent to the Scottish Rite Cathedral, access from South 7th Avenue or South Park Avenue, starting at 6:30 am. The 4.5 mile ride will depart the RH campus promptly at 7:00 am and proceed from West Reading, across the Penn Street Bridge into the City of Reading, past the Berks County Courthouse and Services Center, City Hall, BARTA, and Penske Racing Shocks and then proceed via the Schuylkill River Trail system back to West Reading and the RH start. All participants are required to wear appropriate safety protection and assure reliability of their bicycle for the combined roadway and trail riding experience.
