Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Job Field: Emergency Warning & Mass Notification Systems Job Type: Full Time Experience: 4 to 6 years. Job Description: Looking for experienced developers to join our development team with a view to a long term commitment to the company. Candidate responsibilities will include the usual aspects of developing and supporting both desktop/web applications including: 1. Design and implement desktop/web applications 2. Responsible for all aspects of software development, deployment, and maintenance. 3. Maintain our existing applications, which include fixing critical defects, adding features & enhancements improving the applications’ performance and keeping them current with the new market requirements & emerging technologies. 4. Provide technical support to our system specialists’ team (as needed). 5. Provides technical leadership, direction, and design expertise to junior team members. 6. Co-work with different F/W and H/W teams locally and globally Job Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or related discipline. 2. MCP is an advantage 3. 3+ years’ experience in software design and development 4. 4+ experience in building .NET-based solutions using C# or VB.NET 5. Demonstrated experience with ASP.Net, Ajax, Java script,JQuery, AngularJS, HTML, CSS 6. Demonstrated experience with WCF, Web API & web service technologies in general (REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, SAML, XML, etc…). 7. Demonstrated experience creating network/Internet solutions 8. Experience with integration with GIS systems or mapping applications is a plus. 9. Experience with SQL server & Entity Framework 10. Experience with developing MacOS applications is a plus 11. Experience with at least one mobile platform (Android, iOS...) is a plus 12. Experience with GUI design/development 13. Solid understanding of software design methods and techniques. 14. Solid understanding of object oriented programming concepts and design patterns 15. Solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts 16. Excellent knowledge of UML, to document designs 17. Capable of writing proposals and making presentations to customer or client audiences or professional peers. 18. Organizational and time-management skills under tight deadlines We want a person who is creative, self-motivated, organized, problem solver with high analytical skills; team oriented who will be expected to work hand in hand with our team to develop and maintain a suite of Mass Notification applications (desktop, web & mobile) across a wide range of platforms, including Windows, Mac OS, Android and iOS.
