Computer Fix It – Tip of the week. Power switches are cheap and easily replaced. I would recommend you turn off your computer, monitor or laptop whenever you are not sitting down in front of it. Boot times are much faster now so if you come back to reuse the computer the wait time for it to post will not be significant. If you are still worried about wearing out the power switch button then use the surge protectors on/off switch to power up and down your system.
