Computer help needed: laptop turns on, Windows fails to start. Safe mode doesnt work, neither does a restore point (although it did the first time I tried it). On performing start up checks it reports no errors. 1. Is there any way I can fix this? 2. Failing that, is there any way I can make an image of the hard drive and registry information and basically replicate my set up on another system? 3. Failing that, if I were to remove my hard drive and recover data through an enclosure and another computer, do I risk damaging the system even further. 4. Failing that, does anyone have a building that needs demolishing by hand and fiercely insulting?
