Conception Bay South Curbside Recycling Program For immediate release August 27, 2013 Mayor Woodrow French officially unveiled the Town of Conception Bay South’s new Curbside Recycling Program at the Town Hall this morning. Conception Bay South is a family oriented community, which values its scenic coastline, landscape, waterways and recreational opportunities that strives to ensure high standards of environmental protection. “Our new Curbside Recycling Program is evidence of the Town’s continuing commitment to the environment by becoming a greener municipality. The program is also an extension of the Town’s brand, “Bright Town, Bright Future” says Mayor French. Residents can expect collection to begin in October on a biweekly schedule. A curbside recycling starter kit will be mailed out following the launch and includes a Waste and Recycling Guideline Booklet, collection schedules, blue recycling bags and a coupon for recycling products at local businesses.
