Concerning Orbs in photographs: Returning to my Cornwall 2006 - TopicsExpress

Concerning Orbs in photographs: Returning to my Cornwall 2006 album i find that orbs are now appearing in some of the photos where there were none apparent beforehand. Has anyone else ever encountered this happening? I have revisited this collection often since the photographs were taken and am only just starting to notice the orbs. I first noticed them in the Merlins Cave photo last year, but there were definitely no orbs in this one taken of Chalice Well at Glastonbury. In this photograph, you can see the the orbs hanging from the tree above Sue, appearing almost like apples or faeries. I am considering the following explanations: 1) The conventional technical explanation is that orbs in photos are the result of dust or pollen grains in the atmosphere and is a quirk unique to digital cameras. However, there are orbs apparent in the photo of Merlins Cave, which is on the shoreline. The cave is open at both ends and is blown through perpetually by moisture laden sea air. It would be impossible for dust or pollen to be present here. 2) Perceptual blindness: The orbs were there in the photo all along but my mind hadnt registered them. It is something akin to those European explorers who found the indigenous natives unable to see their tall ships. Ive tested this hypothesis and yes, when i notice an orb in a photo, upon further focus, more orbs do start to appear. 3) Timeline: Through the visit we have a timeline link with the location. Later, while revisiting the scene in fantasy, imagination or meditation, this has created a subtle change at the actual time the photo was taken. A quantum jump? This theory is enhanced by the fact that the orbs appear mostly around Sue while she is performing something ceremonial. The orbs tend to avoid me for some reason.
