Concertgate is very slowly progressing towards a useful tool. To implement the function to add concerts to an ensemble profile has taken a lot longer than I initially thought. The reason for this is that I want it to be as easy for you to use in the end. So Concert Gate is now suggesting if it is this pianotrio or wind quintet you want....and if you select it, it will fill out all movement information and also in different languages. If a piece pops up in English and Danish and you would like to add German for instance it will copy all movement information from the English and you can change the few words that are different between German and English. The movement names are often in Italian anyway so they are the same in all languages. Im giving this possibility to add the movement names, because I have thought about how many times across the world somebody is typing this into a mail and sending it through email to some concert organizer. If somebody has typed in all information about a piece everybody else can use it. Again and again and you can simply share the concert link with your organizer. And ofcourse you can use it again and again also if you yourself typed a piece into the system, so even if you were the only user of the whole system it would still be a benefit to you. And Im also pretty sure that your audience will find it a lot nicer that they can see all details about a piece they are going to listen to. Im putting the final touches on this function to add concerts (for instance if somebody dont want to play all movements of a piece there should be a function to exclude movements on their program, but still show all on other ensembles programs). And I hope I will be able to show a video in the not too distant future. ;) So all in all we need you to play more concerts, with more people in the audience and sit less in front of the computer :D
