Conclusion of 2 Days Selections event in Perth : 2 Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze. Day 2 Seniors - Oceania Championships Selections Jerilee fought well and won her first match. In the finals, she put up a good fight against a very strong and experienced international fighter, and ended with the silver medal. Great efforts by Jerilee, this being her third black belt competition. Jacob did well and won his first match and moved on to semi finals. He put up a good fight, unfortunately he injured his arm and lost the match, and settled with a bronze medal. Ben, who has just returned to taekwondo and his second competition after couple years break, fought against eventual gold medalist in his first match. He did well managing the fight in a close even match for 3 rounds. Unfortunately a score in the last seconds by the opponent ended the nail biting match. Despite the results, it was great efforts by all, and good experiences especially for some in the team who are relatively new competitors.
