Confession: So, I dont really cook. I have my favorite to do dishes, but I am not a kitchen queen. I havent really cooked in months (I am going to blame it partially on my pregnancy and my smell aversion and partially on the fact that I dont really cook). My husband has been doing most, if not all of the cooking for months. So, now its to the point where my son (who just turned 5) is almost afraid for me to cook :) I cooked the other night. Here is the conversation between my son and myself (and no, I was NOT making cereal) Son: Mama, daddy doesnt put milk in that. Me: Well, milk goes in it Son: Well, mama, I dont remember that daddy put milk in that Me: It will be fine.. Son: Mama, I am going to sit down for a minute, but if you need me to show you how to cook something, just let me know, Okay. Me: (blank stare). ... I am thinking that this must be pretty bad, being that now, I am sitting here... getting hungry and waiting for my husband to get back from his meeting so he can cook :)
