Confessions! Every man who was once a boy have been hurt in the past as well as in the present. I may not want to admit it as a man, but somehow even I have been wounded. What do you do when you have been wounded or even cut. If that wound or cut is not properly taken care of, oftentimes left untreated it will become infected; even after it is healed it will leave ugly scar one will carry around for life. All wounds must be healed in the proper way. Many men have gone through life from being a boy, had been victimized, traumatized or even criticized by those closest to them. Left behind are the scars that some men carry around their entire life. Consequently growing up and wounds never being healed, will continue to be a spiraling cycle in their life not being healed. People who hurt oftentimes keep silent and stuff their feelings, their hurts, there emotions. Then they will find a way to hurt others! What do you do for a cut, a wound that was never healed? You must go to someone who has the expertise to treat that wound. This is what we see in our city. Men were once boys had been wounded and never recovered from that being wounded. And now its being acted out through violence and other forms of vindictiveness. But God has come to heal those who have been hurt. John 8:32 is a start!
