Confessions of a Naturally Thick Chick: I have wide feet. Every time I hear the commercial for a DSW $50 gift card. I laugh out loud for 4 reasons. #1- $50 is like a down payment for shoes nowadays. #2- I remind myself that there is no sense in trying to fit my feet into the narrow standard. Chinese foot binding (I think not). The last time I got shoes from here that fit, they were from the sale section. Thank you to all the women that tried them on before me and stretched them out before I got there. :-) #3- I get super jealous of the Drag Queens who I love so dearly that have better shoes than me "B*tches!" Snap #4- Plastic shoes are reserved for girls under 10 and were way cooler in the 80’s. In the immortal words of Charles Scales. When your feet get hot in plastic “They look like HOT GARBAGE!!!” Ha out loud. On the Plus Side: My feet are PERFECT for me. They are strong enough to handle all of me all the time. And for that I thank them.
