Confessions of a small boutique owner: I need help. :) Over the last 3 years, you have all given me a great gift. Your business and friendship. You come here to shop for baby gifts, hair accessories, tutus, birthday outfits, picture outfits, toys and other special occasion items. The only problem is that you dont really buy the things I put the most effort and money into providing for the store. EVERY DAY CLOTHING. Each season I keep hoping that there will be a mad rush of you coming here to check out the new styles. That mad rush still hasnt happened. Its a tough market. I find it harder and harder to compete with online discount websites and big box stores that are copying boutique styles and selling them at a fraction of the price. So, over the next few seasons you will start to notice a smaller selection of clothing being offered here. Fall is already ordered, so it wont be as drastic, but come next spring and summer... I still want you to count on Posh Princess & Prince for holiday clothing (Christmas, Easter, etc) and we will continue to provide you with a good selection for those occasions. And I still want you to count on us to provide the top selling brands you do love (Giggle Moon, Fore, Petit Lem, etc). We are not getting rid of everything. But considerably cutting back. This move is something that needs to happen so that this locally/independently owned, unique specialty store can stay open to serve this community. How can you help in the short term?
