Confirmatory bias is what its called. When you suggest you found something you assume is already there, in that manner. Interesting video in that the speaker discusses a chemistry reaction using heavy elements as a catalyst, just as stars do. There is much evidence that the Sun isnt exactly what either group (typical science theory, and electric universe) suggests it is. There is change occurring in the sun, but its from a settling/cooling happening from an aging of the galaxy, and thus our sun is receiving lesser electricity/wind that keeps it lit (like a cigarette heater when you smoke, it brightens - the sun will get dimmer, but not noticeably). The gyroscopic mutation in our galaxy will allow for bounce back as we see in every scenario even on Earth, as we see with our ozone layer (and in our own biology). Gyroscopic mutation is the reason we cant pinpoint weather patterns. This occurs at every level, Universal, galactic, and solar.
