Confirmed: A health worker who became the first person diagnosed with Ebola in the UK has been transferred to a facility in London from a Scotland hospital. The Nurse is to be treated in an isolation unit at the Royal Free hospital according to the Scotland government. NHS Scotland said the patient who returned to Scotland last night from Sierra Leone has been placed in isolation, and is receiving treatment in the specialist Brownlee Unit for Infectious Diseases on the Gartnavel Hospital campus. All possible contacts with the patient are now being probed and anyone deemed to be at risk will be contacted and closely monitored statement from NHS Scotland declared.
