Congratulation to GFF for their professionalism refunding club fares Hawks, Interior get fare refunds after fixture bites dust 15/01/2015 , By Lamin Cham The GFF has taken the bull by the horns and took responsibility for the postponement of last weekends scheduled league match between Hawks and Interior FC. The match was not played because match officials were either late or never showed up. The organising committee was reported to have looked into the matter at a meeting Tuesday and though not much details were released about their findings, the GFF newsletter released yesterday reported both clubs will be refunded D3000 each for transport fares. Also, the GFF announced that henceforth, relegated teams from the second division will compete in the third division league of their origin like Banjul, KM or West Coast region. “The regional leagues must ensure that the third division clubs are properly registered in line with the GFF rules and regulations and players moving to other clubs must follow the prescribed rules, the newsletter reported.
