Congratulations B.C. you are North Americas largest coal exporter which many studies show is the largest contributor to humanities contributions to climate change. Congratulations to wanta be climate champion Kristy Clark for hiding behind B.Cs its not our jurisdiction excuses ... also would like to congratulate our democracy for ignoring the 8000 letters and 40 000 petition signers in respects to this. (Frazer surrey docks- Texada Island coal project and kinder morgans cutting of protected trees on Burnaby mountain) In many cases our provincial and federal governments buckle and turn the blind eye.... Believe it or not municipal government actually does have a degree of power especially in the areas of land use Question to the Comox Valley (and others): do you take part in municipal elections in your town?
