Congratulations, #USMNT on a valiant run through the #GroupOfDeath and a gutty game versus a superior team in #Belgium. Tim Howard stood on his head and we couldnt be more prouder of your performance. That being said, objectively, the #USMNT was badly outplayed yesterday by Belgium and they were lucky to get into the overtime double-period. The lack of speed and athleticism was disappointing at the very least. We say good-bye to warriors like Howard, Clint Dempsey, DaMarcus Beasley, and Jermaine Jones and we welcome the #YoungGuns in 2018 with DeAndre Yedlin, Julian Green, and Jozy Altidore, among others. Just remember one thing, USA has Football, Baseball, Basketball, and Hockey that reduces our talent pool for #Soccer. Just think if we had world-class athletes like LeBron James, Richard Sherman, and Adrian Peterson playing in the pitch. It would be a no contest. Keep your chins up, boys. Soccer is here to stay.
