Congratulations to Brad Price on his nomination to Alabama Boys State. I did not know what it was so I looked it up. It is a week long program focusing on governmental and community activities. It is sponsored by the American Legion and is a national program in all states except Hawaii. There are some scholarships given by the American Legion and some colleges award scholarships to those who have participated in the program. It is one of the highest honors granted to Alabama high school students. Students are selected based on leadership, hard work, strong morals and motivation in school, community and volunteering. Past recipients include Presidents, Governors, Neil Armstrong, Tom Brokaw, Michael Jordan, Rush Limbaugh and Nick Saban. I am very proud of you and all that you do!!
