Congratulations to Carlos Arredondo, Boston Strong civilian hero and St. Francis House volunteer! Carlos gave the commencement address at Fisher College on Saturday, along with Jeff Bauman, the man he aided after the bombing at last year’s Boston Marathon. Carlos told the graduates, I hope that my actions motivate others simply to love their neighbors through actions, good works and in times of need. Our staff, volunteers, and guests know from experience that Carlos does just that. We’re happy to have him (and his wife, Melida) as part of the St. Francis House family!
