Congratulations to John Dickey and Gerard Mc Nally who were riding in the Tour Of Omagh 3 Day this weekend They were riding in a composite team named Team Superseal Windows who kindly sponsored the kit. The team also included Raphael Scullion(Spires cc),Dessie Smyth and Joe Mc Crory(both Carn Wheelers) After everyone going in on level time in the GC after the first 2 stages things got better after stage 3 TT stage with all riders finishing in the top 15 including a stage win for Gerard and with it the yellow jersey going into the final stage. The boys all held firm and worked well as a team and stayed in the front group until the final 1.5 mile climb which saw an attack straight away. Unfortunately Gerard and John missed the attack they still battled hard on the climb picking off riders the whole way up but too much time had been lost to the front riders on the narrow,steep climb but Gerard still finshed in 11th overall and John just behind in 26th overall out of a starting field of 95. It was a very successful weekend for all involved in the team as they also picked up a prize as finishing 3rd team overall and the team agreed to kindly donate the prize money to charity.
