Congratulations to Peter Forward, an amazing artist and local Hobsons Bay resident for winning the Toyota Community Spirit 10th Annual Sculpture Exhibition. Entitled the Departure Lounge, Peter chose to use recycled cardboard cartons and paint to highlight the plight of some our most threatened native species and their ever growing loss of habitat. He gained inspiration from a recent experience volunteering with Australian Wildlife Conservancy scientists at Scotia Sanctuary.
