Congratulations to long-term Adoption Center guest, Steve, who was adopted over the weekend! This sweet boy was with PAWS Chicago for more than a year and is finally loving life with his new family! According to his adopters… “Our dog Scout recently passed and we were lonely without a dog. We saw Steves picture and description on your website and his personality sounded interesting. As experienced dog owners, we took a chance on him. Were so glad we did! Hes doing great- more relaxed and happy every day. I have two teenage boys who are very tall and come home after Im asleep. Steve just gives them a wag of his tail and a big sleepy head to pet and goes back to sleep! He loves lying in the grass and we walk down to the beach where he loves to feel the sand on his paws! The vet tells me he is in perfect health. He is very curious about household things like cooking, ladders and laundry. We are careful to let him check everything out to build his confidence. We introduced him to a few family members and friends and thats gone well. Were taking it slow so that he doesnt get overwhelmed.” We are thrilled that Steve has finally gotten the happy ending he so deserved!
