Congratulations to the LI baseball team (4-1 win over Lake Region) and softball team (5-4 win over Springfield) in todays quarterfinal playoff games. Baseball will travel to Mill River UHS in Clarendon, VT (Route 7 south of Rutland) on Monday to play the Minutemen in a Div. 2 semi-final. Game time is 4:30pm. The winner will play in the state championship game later next week. Softball will host Otter Valley, also in a Div. 2 semi-final, on Tuesday at 4:30pm. The winner plays in the state championship game in Poultney next weekend.
