Congress once again fails to do the right thing for veterans. Instead of passing a clean bill they fill the bill with pork (self serving crap that has nothing to do with veterans) It seems that sending healthy Americans into combat is fine but providing decent medical benefits when they come home broken can wait. Instead of talking about vague VA reforms try reforming Congress. All bills should pass on their own merit without a load of self serving crap being part of the deal. Pass a VA budget a year in advance to make sure that in the event of another government shutdown the Veterans dont get screwed again
