Connecticut friends... I have a last minute plea. My apartment in CT has been occupied by a friend since my leaving to be on the Cape for my mother prior to her passing. He has decided that today he will be moving to Texas and all of my furnishings in CT are being abandoned. Landlord (also without appropriate notice) is not surprisingly upset and wants everything out by the end of the day TODAY. Is there anyone available TODAY to take a few hours to help move from the house (Shelton, CT) to a friend offering garage/barn storage (Shelton, CT). He has only a cargo work van so there may be a few trips unless you have a truck. I am on Cape Cod with my beautiful van and could have gotten there, but with this short of notice, my hands are tied and my CT belongings are in need of rescue or to donate to a friend who may need nice things xoxo Leather Couches, stand up freezer, washer dryer, snow blower, queen bed, work table... a few other items. It would be a terrible shame for any or all of it to go to a dumpster by an angry landlord. Happy New Year Baby!
