Consider this Make You think Monday: Have you ever noticed how discerning people seem to be at the wrong time. They can discern you have a flat tire after you on the side of the road, they can discern you are sick after youve been checked into the hospital, they can discern you are homeless after they see you on the park bench. But all those Sundays they sat right next too you, never smiled or spoke but couldnt discern, that just last night you almost breathed your last breath. That you are broken and been abused and your trying to find a reason to keep going on, they couldnt discern that you were struggling with an addiction and you just needed one person to say Your Strong enough, your gonna make it...and even if you fall 10 times I still believe in you. Never once did they discern the affection of a pure hug in love would drown out some of the affliction I you have from being physically abused. Never once did they discern that you havent eaten all week and just a bowel of warm soup would satisfy you right now. Never did they discern that you have been without a job for 2 yrs and all they see you wear, is what you had in the past nothing new. So many times we say we are spiritual, we say we operate in love, but how many people come searching for that love we preach only to walk away emptier and disappointed because the one place they thought it would be found...it was not there. The church. Where is the church? Who is the Church? The church is where ever you are...because you are suppose to be the church. They may show up to a building, but YOU...ME we are the church. Christ is not married to a building He is married to a body. Lord teach us to not only discern in Truth, but operate in Love that we may function in Unity as One Body, One Mind and One Heart! SRJ
