Considering the constant barrage of slanted and/or false information from the media, it is little wonder that it is difficult to make sense of current events. For myself I use a simple framework. Logic leads me to understand that there is a neural network of entities whose sole purpose is to identify, procure, control, and exploit real and virtual assets. This neural net is supported by individuals and organizations who are encouraged to participate because of financial gain, or, who are ideologically aligned. Presently the largest military ever assembled in peacetime is being used by this neural net to protect their hard assets. Practically every other thing happening is a distraction.
