Constantly realizing that there is something unique about having the slightest amount of Black pride that threatens even the most ethnocentric and prideful groups among mankind. It seems that being Black and having dignity is offensive to certain people because in their culture, Black people are subhuman and should be servants. So when you show you are to be respected, you directly offend a person from such groups because they see themselves as your masters, and you are showing rebellious display of aggression from their perspective. Naturally if you dont view me as an equal human being, I obviously have no choice but to view you the exact same way. If I waste time trying to show Im the better person by treating you with additional respect, it wont improve your views of Black people, it will only enhance the negative sentiments. Eventually that respect will be taken for servitude, and I have encouraged you to remain the way you are. If the strategy of being doormats for any of these people worked, white people would be physically worshiping black people in america by now. - Saood Juma Abdul-Basit
