Construction on NW 86th Street in Clive Beginning Monday, July 22, 2013, construction crews will begin work on an asphalt overlay of NW 86th Street between University Avenue and Hickman Road in the City of Clive. The required milling and placement of the first course of asphalt will be completed under traffic with lane closures. Depending on specific work activities, access to individual businesses or side streets may be impacted for short periods of time. However, one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained along the corridor. This first stage of construction is expected to be completed by the end day, Friday, July 26th dependent on weather. Traffic in and around the affected area is encouraged to exercise caution and/or seek alternate routes as delays will occur.
