Consumer Prices in ×Japan stabilized in . . . . . . . . . . . . Japanese economy witnessed a stable consumer prices reading during the month of ×July, highlighting the challenges BOJ’s Governor Kuroda faces in reaching the targeted price-growth rate. Japan’s National Consumer Price Index met analysts’ estimates in ×July at 3.4%m from a previous reading of 3.6% a year earlier. National Consumer Price excluding fresh food met expectations also at 3.3% in ×July, and unchanged from its year earlier previous reading. National Consumer Price excluding food and energy also recorded 2.3% in ×July to meet expectations and previous reading. Moreover, the ×Bank of Japan noted that consumer prices is expected to increase about 1.25% for a while before rising to reach its 2 percent inflation target, where any further weakness in inflation may add pressure on BOJ’s governor to add stimulus. From another side, ×Japanese Jobless Rate data came today to show a more than estimated incline in ×July to 3.8%, from estimated 3.7%, where the previous reading recorded 3.7%, which may increase pressure on policymakers to add supportive measures during the upcoming stage to rebalance the nation’s economic growth. #egyptyard
