Contd from 03-03-14........ E- Satsang members missed out all our previous postings can read them in my timeline.... SPECIAL QUESTION no 273: Question: What do you mean by Nama Dwaar? What are its Preamble, Purpose and Plan? Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji Nama is the Holy Name of the Lord. Dwaar in Sanskrit means an entrance or a way. Attaining the Lord by chanting His Divine Name is Nama Dwaar Preamble of Namadwaar. Nama Sankirtan (Chanting the Divine Names) alone is our means of worship. Transcending the disparities created by virtue of caste, religion, geography or language, all of us, should live together in a loving and harmonious manner. A group should not attack another. We should have compassion towards all. How would we feel if someone attacks us or inflicts pain on us? We should not cause pain to others. We should lead a life acceptable to the Almighty. For any nation, for any group of people, for any religion, God is one. We all are His children. Sri Krishna Chaitanya, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and Sri Mahatma Gandhi – these three great souls have propagated only this precept. All religions are acceptable! All nations are our nations! All people are our people! May we inculcate such equanimity. Lets all, together chant the Names of Hari! May we also chant this Mahamantra 108 times every day and, by Gods grace, be relieved from all kinds of miseries and receive all the goodness in life. Nama Dwaar - Purpose and Plan God cannot differentiate between people; His grace and compassion knows no such thing as distinction between devotees. The wealthy are capable of seeking treatment for their ailments in expensive private hospitals, while hospitals running on charity are the only source of medical aid for the poor. Despite the fact that the value of human life is greater than that of money, we do encounter these differences in the very protection of life. Only Gods compassion is equally available for all. However, some close-minded people with vested interests have managed to use some faulty logic and obstruct everyone from experiencing Gods grace and compassion equally. To change this situation and to ensure that Gods grace reaches one and all, the rich and poor alike, I would like propose a simple and beautiful solution, which is in line with the path treaded by our great Mahatmas — Nama Dwaar. Beginning with Tamil Nadu, it will not only spread to other states of India but also other countries. It is my fervent desire to establish as many Nama Dwaars as possible. A Nama Dwaar will constitute a simple, open construction with a small Gopuram (shrine). A small glass enclosure will have an oil lamp that will always remain lit. This Nama Dwaar will be open to all, irrespective of gender, caste, creed, religion, or region. There will be no dress code or restrictions for religious conduct. There will be neither a need nor a place for flower offerings, camphor, incense sticks, or even Archana (offering of flowers with mantras). No fee will be charged. There will be no restrictions of Agamas or Shastras (our holy prescriptive scriptures). There will be no Pooja (ceremonial worship) or Naivedya (Holy Food offerings). Those who enter the Nama Dwaar should continuously chant the Maha Mantra .......To be continued tomorrow..... !!! More e-satsang to follow - Be blessed !!! ------------------------------------------ Regards & Chant the Mahamantra Nama kirtan: Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Pl visit namadwaar.org/home.php or listen and chant along with the tune...
