Contemplating.. In this rebuilding of the city, why not rechristen the name of our city from Visakhapatnam or Vizag as popularly known to just Visakha. Vizag is the short form of Vizagapatam, which was the outcome of Britishers not being able to utter the name of the city. Patnam technically means town and not city, and thats why maybe this city has remained a patnam for a very long time instead of progressing into a metropolis. Remember Chennaipatnam anyone, which is now Chennai, same argument..
