Contest: Enter it quickly! 4 Days to entry deadline The world-renowned Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival is calling for artist entries for a National arts contest supported by a partnership between Broo and the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA). The finished pieces will represent the largest Arts at the Airport skylight display since the program’s inception 25 years ago. (release below) A part of the Bonnaroo founding mission is to emphasis the impact the festival has on creativity in both the visual and live performance arts, said Ashley Capps of AC Entertainment, one of the festival partners. Call for Entries Asks Artists Inspired by the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival to Create Skylight-Suspended Displays Artists are being asked for proposals that include iconic festival elements, a nod to Bonnaroo’s home base in Manchester, Tenn., and recognition of the festival’s 2014 lineup (to be announced in early 2014). Proposals for site-specific sculptures or kinetic mobiles will be accepted until January 29, 2014, and the selected pieces will be installed between April 28 and May 9, 2014. Selections will be made by February 14 with an anticipated installation between April 28 and May 9, 2014. Each artist will receive a $3,000 honorarium.
