Continuing the series of Hunt Slonem we look at one of his properties in Louisiana. Albania is a 19th century Greek Revival plantation listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Hunt was a student at Tulane University in New Orleans and had been captivated by the ethereal images of plantation houses featured in the tome, Ghosts Along the Mississippi, whose author wrote eloquently about the elegant decay many of these houses had endured. Fun fact: the movie All the Kings Men starring Jude Law and Kate Winslet was filmed at Albania.
