Continuing with a report on the Eddie Hamilton/Cornell Sankey campaign meeting Monday night at the Hammon Community Hall. There were several issues that were discussed that should be of intrest to Tribal members. A comment was made to the candidates that it seemed that Janice Boswell is not even trying to get re-elected. That with the exception of a few campaign signs posted here and there, she has not put forth a lot of effort to get out there and work to get re-elected. Mr. Hamilton agreed and he stated he noticed that by her also, that she seemed not even worried about it at all. He further stated that Janice Boswell seems to him to be walking around with a confident attitude as if she has won the election already. When asked if the election results were turned in and she somehow won by a landslide what he would do about it, he stated he would definitely challenge those results. When asked if he would be open to a third party monitoring the election he did agree that would probably be a good idea. It appears that Mr. Hamilton does not have much confidence that the Tribes would get a fair election, but has not taken any steps to try to insure a fair election.
