Continuously we hear Non-Muslims in the west stating that the Muslim scholars around the world need to speak up and stand up against terrorism. While it should be clear that terrorism does not belong to any religion , however our scholars have at numerous times spoke up against such arrogance and barbarism , making it clear that the muslim community disowns such organisations. The big issue here however is that the western media will not cover such voices that speak up against terrorist organisations like ISIS, due to political agendas monitoring and controlling western media. Below is a excerpt of a speech given recently by one of the most prominent Muslim and political figures in the #Arab (non Muslim) and Muslim world in #Beirut, #Lebanon on the link between ISIS and the wahabi ideology backed-up by Saudi regimes. Our aim was to share this speech so the western community are able to see our stance as Muslims and that in the Muslim communities across the world there are voices who oppose this #ideology and who stand and speak out against them. We dont care whether you are #Shia, #Sunni, #Alawi, #Druze, #Christian, or belong to any other #sect or #religion. This video is worth listening in order to understand our positions as muslims.
