***** Contracts Co-ordinator This position will be part of the Commercial Department, reporting to the Regional Tenders Manager. A high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and strong organisational skills are required for this position. Purpose: To ensure all responses to incoming Tender opportunities and quotations are of the highest quality, providing my client with the best opportunity to retain existing business and secure new business. Activity Level Co-ordination of the complete tender process, from Expression of Interest to submission of proposals. Liaising with the Sales Department, but also with a range of personnel in other Departments as appropriate, both UK and International, regarding aspects of tender requirements. Planning, writing, preparing and submitting proposals in accordance with deadlines specified. Co-ordination of subsequent tender negotiations and presentations as required. Ensuring all relevant personnel are involved and kept fully informed throughout the tender process. Assistance with implementation of new Contracts. Involvement in the preparation of service level agreements if required. Keeping a high awareness of developments of company services and products and feeding these through to tender proposals. Working with the Regional Tenders Manager to write and maintain a central source of master documents, working with overseas offices as required. Maintenance of accurate records of the tender process and existing Contracts. Knowledge and Skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent writing skills. Ability of write & edit lengthy proposals. Experience of working with contracts and tenders desirable, but not essential. Ability to work to tight schedules and immovable deadlines. Ability to work under pressure and multi-task. Ability to work in a fast moving environment, absorbing and interpreting developments. Ability to communicate at all levels. Be able to interpret information logically and think strategically. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills. Excellent Microsoft Word skills. Good Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent team player.
