Conversation between me and one of my (male) customers today: Customer: Why is that sign there? Me: What sign? Customer: That one! (Pointing at waitress station)... Me: Its to keep that area clear for the waitress, why? Customer: (Laughing) Cuz its spelled wrong! Me: No its not! I spelled it right...So, I repeated, S-T-A-T-I-O-N... Customer: Ill bet you $50.00 that its not spelled right... Me: OK, how do you think it should be spelled? And no Im not betting you.. Customer: See, that goes to show you, that youre not sure of yourself (he continues) I know it has an h in it... LMAO! I could not believe what I was hearing... Had I known he was THAT stupid, I should have taken him up on his bet...
