Conversation with my dad just now: Dad: I saw on the news that because of Obamacare, people cant get the prostate cancer treatment I got 10 years ago. Me: Thankfully you dont HAVE prostate cancer anymore, so you dont need to worry about any of that. And please dont rely on TV for medical advice. Dad: But theyre saying its too expensive so people cant have it. Me: They are constantly improving treatment so the approach from 10 years ago isnt done now because something much better is available. I recently interviewed one of the nations leading prostate cancer specialists and you wont believe the advances and changes in the past year alone. And YOU DONT HAVE prostate cancer. Please stop worrying about this. rinse repeat rinse repeat Me: Dad, they dont cover leeches anymore either.
