Cool temperatures didnt dissuade a group of local boy scouts in their volunteer efforts last weekend in central Utah. Together, the scout group, leaders, and family friends rebuilt 300 feet of fence, installed an ATV cattle guard, and 14-foot swinging gate, bettering the management of livestock grazing in the Upper San Rafael River Wildlife Management Area (Fuller Bottom). Eagle Scout candidate, Darien Wichmann coordinated with BLM staff and the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources to complete the project. Photo credit: Karl Ivory
