Corgi mix Sunshine Sally was rescued by WT&F in mid September when she had been dumped at the Martinez shelter and was on the euthanasia list. We were able to pluck her out at the very last minute. SS was very sick for a few weeks. She had a raging UTI and Kennel Cough with terrible respiratory symptoms. Even so, she had a wonderful, sunshine personality in her foster home. She brings a motherly calm to the pack. Her foster mom has been limiting her food since shes quite overweight, and has had her spayed. Her illness has cleared and she continues to be a sweet blessing to her foster home. When being held like a baby to remove her staples, she didnt struggle or nip, she just trusted the vet techs to do what they do without trouble. Not a flinch or a snort out of her. Sunshine is why we do what we do. Shes got a long life of love left in her, didn;t deserve to be abandoned, and she has no flaws or issues. Shes just a sweet pumpkin no one wanted in time.
