Corina has given me permission to share the last 36hrs and Gods hand in our lives!... yesterday afternoon (saturday) Corina was involved in a traffic accident, thankfully she was okay, but there was lady who was injured and had to be taken to hospital. between the family of the lady and Corina, things were being handled, taken care of and emotions were okay (here in Bolivia many times this is how things are done: you and them figure it out on your own). papers had to be filed with the traffic police (transit), once at the office, the police notified Corina she was being arrested!!! no one was really sure why and what a shock! (we think more on the chance of flight??). After a couple of hours she was taken to a holding cell for the night... we didnt know where this would end, even if there are laws here, it doesnt always mean they are followed or will be respected... each of us knew the outcome could be very scary (actual jail time of up to a month). this is where the body of Christ came in... from phone calls, to prayer requests to some of our volunteers literally standing outside of transito for more then 12hrs, supporting, running errands, paperwork, food (you dont get feed in holding cells, beds, proper bathroom use or basic necessities- you need loved ones to do this for you) Corina was able to come home tonight to her two little kids who were ecstatic to have her home again!!! Many of us, including Corina, were preparing for another night in the holding cell, which would mean going before a Judge-making things more complicated and scary. God worked his hand and the battlefield came to an end... Corina was released at the last moment, with signed papers from the family declaring they wouldnt press charges, an agreement was made between both parties on how to proceed from here on and Gods love, miracle and story has been shared! Marco phoned ahead (i was home with the kids) to go buy a cake, we were celebrating a home coming... 5yr old Keiden asked me why (we had shared only a little, just what he needed to know), i told him a miracle happened today, he then said so we are celebrating a miracle then! what a better way to end this all, but with a celebration of Him... Both marco and Corina lifted up His name tonight recognizing the work that was done and thankful for this gift!... you can still continue to pray as things still have to be tied up and for the other lady involved too! thank you again for all who took this and prayed, i believe we probably had 1000 people praying world wide these last days... what a testimony to Him!
